For many children today obtaining an education is the key to providing them with a different future from their parents, grandparents and the generations that have gone before.
Our aim is to support our in country partners with regular financial support. We presently support two projects, People to People in Romania and the Jackson Foundation in Uganda.
In Romania a child can attend school from just £18.00 per month, through the sponsorship scheme. This pays for teachers, school supplies and a cooked lunch - often their only cooked meal of the day.
In Uganda the salary of a teacher is £30.00 per month and they are only paid for 9 months of the year.
These programmes enables individuals to support the education of children in an important and practical way. When providing sponsorship we can specifically identify for you the child or teacher you are supporting.
