Urvind Community:Hygiene and MedicalBlockUrvind Community:Hygiene and MedicalBlock

The people in Urvind are very poor and live in basic overcrowded living conditions.

People2People have alreadyimproved thestandard of living by providing twenty houses modified from metal containers (pictured right).

The next stage is to build a shower and toiletblock with medical facility.

In 2012 Teams4U hopes to have raised the funds for People2People to build a centre with male and female showers, toilets and medical rooms.

This will change the lives of the people in Urvind who at the moment have no access to these type of facilities.

The cost to build thisis approximately 24,000.

Where We Work

Our work is varied and diverse. In Eastern Europe, through one programme, we are sponsoring the care and education of abandoned children;

In another project we are helping to refurbish an orphanage where children who lived in sewers, are now being offered a home.
